RedDoorz Near Stasiun Purwosari

I badly needed somewhere to stay and rest for the night, but they wouldn't let me check in when I arrived. They said check-in only ran until 2 p.m., even though plenty of rooms were empty. I had planned to stay overnight, and they still denied me access. My refund request couldn't be processed either. The whole thing was disappointing and made an already uncomfortable situation worse.

The receptionist was very helpful, and the place was fairly clean. The hot water came in a 10-liter supply, so after a hot shower I had to wait before using it again. I was moved from the first floor to the second because the AC barely worked in the first room and was only a little better upstairs. The rooms had very different feels: downstairs seemed more like a hotel, but had no closet and left me unsure where to put my clothes. Upstairs felt more like a boarding house and was more suitable, though the downstairs blankets were nicer.

The guy serving us was friendly, but offered no solution. When I asked who caused the damage, he said the owner would demand compensation if we had done it. Come on, don't take advantage of the situation. The toilet shower jet was broken from day one and never repaired. The water smelled, the toilet was dirty and hadn't been cleaned, and the soap smelled like sewage, so I poured it all out. It seemed not to have been replaced in years. The sheets were filthy, the towels were like doormats, and the bathroom was dirty too. The door could be locked from outside but couldn't be locked from outside. The inside latch was hard to secure because it wasn't lined up properly. Take a look at yourselves once in a while.

My stay was mostly good, and getting around was easy since Purwosari station is nearby. The room had a queen bed, sink, TV, AC, hot water, drinks, a large wardrobe, and the place was accessible 24 hours. It was reasonably clean, the AC cooled well, and the hot water worked. Parking is tight, though, and the mattress in the room at the end of the second floor really needs replacing. I got hurt once because springs were sticking out, which is dangerous. One more hassle: my booking through the ag*da app never went through, so I ended up paying again with redd*rz.
