Riyadi Palace Hotel

The food was good, even though it wasn't fancy, and it cost just 35k for the three of us, including one extra pax. The best part of the visit was the Sunday car free day, with food stalls and things to see right outside the room. There was no pool, unfortunately. The hotel is old, but it's kept up well. Our room was small and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. I liked that the bathtub was lower than standard ones, which felt safer for kids. The cupboard had plenty of space, though it smelled old and dusty. We also found ash under the cup in the room, but they changed it.

I asked for a non smoking room and got a smoky one instead. There wasn't any body wash soap in the toilet, and they only gave us one tea pack. Management didn't seem to care about customer requests. I can't remember the rest, sorry.

We booked a few rooms for our group, and a lot of them smelled really bad, like sewage or a smoker's room, even though they were non smoking rooms. Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it.

For a budget hotel, it was still great. The location is strategic and the room was pretty cozy, but the bathroom floor was a bit slippery. Breakfast was just so-so.
