The room was clean and spacious, though a bit old. I booked the deluxe, but couldn’t see much difference from a standard room. The bathroom also looks dated. I didn’t find hair on the floor or even dust on top of the TV, and the stains seemed due to age rather than dirt, but it could use maintenance or updating. The shower sits a little too high, water pressure is weak, there are no guest slippers, and I couldn’t find a lift. For the price, though, the place was nice and worth it. I booked through RedDoorz's apps after expecting it to be much like its competitor (A*ry), but it turned out better than I thought, with a proper hotel unlike the blue application. There’s no breakfast included when booking through RD, which was fine with me. I’d rather find breakfast outside and eat like a local. I could see myself staying here again. #notcreditingbzzfeed

The hot shower, TV channels, and Wi-Fi were good. Some rooms are too small, and the hotel feels old. They should keep the bath gel and shampoo stocked in the bathroom and replace the sheets and towels.

Comfortable rooms and a clean hotel in a convenient part of downtown Solo (Surakarta). It’s near the malls and Surakarta Palace (Keraton), and the price is very affordable, especially on promo days. A good option for travelers on a limited budget who still want a comfortable place.

The receptionist and security staff were good, and there’s a hot and cold water dispenser on the second floor. There wasn’t a kettle in the room, though. When I arrived, the room smelled of smoke, and the bed had a smell from the bathroom. Its springs were broken, and the floor felt sticky.
