Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort felt calm and closely connected to nature, while still offering a luxurious stay. The bamboo architecture is beautiful, and the design feels thoughtful throughout the property. The staff were warm and attentive and made me feel welcome. I also thought the food, spa, and facilities were excellent. I'd love to return, and recommend it to anyone looking for an eco-luxury retreat in Bali.

The sustainability ethos was one of the things we appreciated most. Ulaman felt thoughtfully made to sit in harmony with nature, and being surrounded by bamboo architecture and all the water features was incredibly peaceful and special. We went to yoga each morning and tried sound healing at midday. The spa was almost cave-like, with a waterfall view, hot and cold plunges, and both dry and infrared saunas. We also had a beautiful Balinese massage and acupuncture there. It felt like a full healing experience by itself. The gym was well equipped and set in a lovely space where it was peaceful to move and clear your mind. I've stayed in some beautiful hotels, but Ulaman is unlike the others. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

The staff really made the stay special. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, and the service felt high end. We kept in touch through WhatsApp and always got quick replies. The spa was good, the women working there were lovely, and we enjoyed the yoga and sound healing sessions. We also went on a bike ride with a super friendly guide who made it easy and fun. The architecture and nature around the hotel were beautiful, and the whole place felt peaceful. I saw comments about insects and humidity in the rooms, but you're in the jungle in a humid climate, so that's to be expected. It honestly wasn't that bad, and the hotel provided mosquito and insect spray throughout, so we felt comfortable.

We spent the day here with a Day Pass, and the sound of water running through the resort, the bamboo architecture, and the jungle setting made the whole place feel different from the usual Bali luxury stay. We had access to the hot and cold plunge pools, sauna, steam room, spa facilities, and beautiful infinity pools surrounded by nature. Everything felt peaceful and carefully designed. The staff were kind throughout the day, and we enjoyed the atmosphere at E.A.R.T.H Restaurant too. Even without staying overnight, Ulaman made a big impression. It's one of the most unique places we've visited in Bali.

The resort felt almost unreal, like stepping into Pandora from Avatar. Our room was made of natural bamboo, and despite my usual worries about spiders and cleanliness when staying close to nature, it was spotless and beautifully designed. The large glass doors looked out over nature, and the room felt like home while still being luxurious and pampering. The staff were warm and attentive from the start. We got a house-made alcoholic welcome drink with local jackfruit chips, then the security team, front desk, and concierge were all friendly. The concierge gave us a short resort tour and escorted us to the room. I also appreciated the fully stocked complimentary minibar and private coffee machine. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, so kudos to the chef. The chocolate lava cake with traditional tempe crumbs was a clever, brilliant twist. I loved the house-made wine, “Drunken Monkey,” so much I bought a bottle to take home. Special thanks to Astri, Dewi, Patra, and Devi for their genuine kindness and hospitality. I stayed for two nights with my colleague. Truly a paradise on earth.
