The room was tidy and smelled nice, and the sheets and mattress didn't make me itchy. The water was clean and flowed well. It worked fine as a place to stop and rest, with a spacious room and bed for the standard price. The AC was cold, though it took a while at the lowest setting. It's close to Royal Plaza and a minimarket. I booked a family room for four through tiket.com for July 19-20, 2025, and paid around 200,000 Rupiah. The listing said "Red Doorz Prapen Jaya," Google Maps said Sidosermo, and the sign said Sofia/Sidosermo, which was confusing. I was first given room 203, where the bathroom was dirty and the toilet wouldn't flush. Thankfully, they moved me to cleaner room 201. Another problem came when I went out at 8 at night to find food and walk around. I asked if there was a night shift, and staff said no. When we got back, the gate was locked and we couldn't get the key. I rang the bell and called on WhatsApp, but nobody answered, so my friends and I had to climb the fence to get in. It seems the bell only rings outside and can't be heard indoors. The metal bed also creaked and didn't seem sturdy anymore, which made me worry something could happen.
