Umasari Rice Terrace Villa

The views from Umasari Rice Terrace Villa are so peaceful, with open fields and crops stretching out as far as you can see. My wife and I had a great stay in a clean, comfortable Balinese house, and the bathroom had a lovely natural feel. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and the restaurant had great food options.

I spent three nights in the Garden Bungalow, set among idyllic rice fields. The place is beautifully designed and decorated, and it's a peaceful choice for anyone wanting to get away from Bali's tourist crowds. Ubud and other places are still quick to reach. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I had to leave early one morning, and they brought breakfast to my bungalow. Thanks so much!

The garden cottage is really close to the rice fields, which made for a beautiful view. There’s a fridge by the pool for everyone to use, and a couple of local tokay in each bathroom. Our room’s AC was really noisy. We only went to the rest of the hotel for breakfast, so I can’t say much about it. The food was okay, nothing special, and there seemed to be plenty of staff for how slow the service was.

We stayed four nights in one of the rice field view villas. The place has an old-fashioned boutique feel, and although it’s old, it was clean and quiet, with nature sounds all around. The view looks out over the jungle and rice terraces. The restaurant food was good, though some people might find the portions a bit small. It was also a bit far for my wife to walk up and down the terrain after breakfast on the first day, so room service was a plus.
