I canceled the stay and lost my money. I’d rather take that loss and find another hotel than pay extra for a lousy one. I’d booked two rooms online through Agoda, but at check-in the hotel asked for more money, saying the Agoda price was wrong. I book through Agoda regularly, even in big cities like Medan, and have never had trouble before. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had.

We were worn out after a long trip with our family and baby, so I decided to find another hotel. I had booked three rooms at a promotional price, but on arrival they made me pay the hotel’s rate again, saying the advertised app price was unreasonable even though it was a promotion. I tried to explain, but a staff member got angry and said, “I’ll just give you my money back, I don’t need your money.” My worst hotel booking experience so far. Don’t work with Agoda if you don’t understand how it works!!!

It’s comfortable here, and the innkeeper is very friendly. I feel it was helpful to me, even though I think the price shown in the app isn’t the same as the actual price. I’d recommend it to friends who want to relax or vacation in Takengon.

The service was very poor, and the room didn’t match the price. I booked through the app at the listed rate, but when I arrived they asked me for more money. I don’t recommend booking here.
