Bobocabin Ijen Banyuwangi

The grounds and cabins are modern, with security cameras all over and motion sensor lights. We enjoyed the views, the peaceful setting, and the very friendly team, who were warm whenever we ran into anyone. Even with a large family checking in, we barely heard them. We went to bed early before our hike. Food can be delivered to your room if you ask, and what we had was hot and good. We stayed one night and had one dinner and one breakfast. I liked the location, about 500 meters down the road from Ijen, though I wouldn't walk along that road at night. We had a car, thankfully, because navigating it at 1:30am on the way up would have been tough. Having to download the app was a pain. They could also set it up to order food in the app, and improve the road leading in. Still, none of that would stop us from staying again if we needed to.

After hiking at Mt. Ijen, being welcomed by friendly staff, checking in easily, and getting a comfortable room with an amazing view made me so happy. For that price, the service was really worth it. I enjoyed the experience so much, it became one of my best moments. Thank you, bobocabin.

I ordered breakfast and waited a whole hour for three bowls of noodles. Meanwhile, a group of seven who came after me got their food first. I was exhausted from traveling and needed rest, so I tried to cancel, but the staff wouldn't let me. They followed me to another room to demand payment, which felt like a major invasion of my privacy. I don't want an apology at this point. I'm beyond disappointed by how unprofessional this was. I had to pay and take the food with me, and it was just plain boiled noodles that looked nothing like the menu pictures.

Watching clouds move through the mountains from bed was incredible. We had a truly wonderful stay, and the room's iPad controls everything and lets you order room service. The place is right at the bottom of Mount Ijen base camp, and the facilities were spotless, with well-equipped, well-stocked rooms. There's also a small shop on site with everything you might need. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Arif at reception was very polite, and special mention to Antony, the nicest manager I've ever come across. He was helpful, hospitable, and made us feel at home. Nothing was too much to ask. People like him make a place even more special. For the price, you really can't stay anywhere else when this place is available.
