I had already paid for the room through Agoda, but the person there said I couldn’t stay, even after I showed proof of payment. She told me to cancel and pay at the property, but I couldn’t get the cancellation to work. In the end, I had to leave despite having paid. Please don’t book this place through Agoda.
The homestay is nice and very reasonably priced. There’s no Wi-Fi or hot water, but that feels fair for the cost. One thing to watch out for: Google Maps doesn’t pin the right spot. It’s just before the steep downhill stretch, or just after the steep uphill one. If you’re not sure, you can WhatsApp +62 857-9218-3802.
The owners are so friendly, they make you feel like family. It’s a comfortable place, and the food you can order there is delicious too.
The location and service have both been really satisfying. I’ve stayed here twice now. Five stars ☺️
