Mi Casa Ijen Guest House

Marc, Erica, Rico, and the whole team made us feel at home, always offering warm hospitality and help. The property is breathtaking and well maintained, with complete amenities and a river flowing through it that adds to the peaceful atmosphere. If you need a serene natural retreat to unwind and step away from city life, this really is a gem of Ijen. Every moment felt like paradise. The food was outstanding, especially the banana pancake, which is a must-try. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable, and everything is kept very clean. The owners live on the property, and you can tell everything is made with love. The grounds blend wonderfully into nature, with lots of trees for shade and even a river of crystal clear water flowing through. WiFi worked perfectly, and breakfast and dinner were delicious.

We only stayed one night, and I wish we'd booked longer. The owners were so kind, we had lovely chats, and the food was delicious. They helped arrange our trip to Kawah Ijen, which we really enjoyed. The house sits somewhere wonderfully peaceful beside a little river. Just wow, I highly recommend it.

I almost don't want to review Mi Casa because I'd rather keep it to myself for my next visit. The green, peaceful grounds feel like an oasis, and Erika and Marc are incredibly welcoming. The cabins are beautifully put together, with lots of wood and thoughtful touches, including an outdoor-facing bathroom that still feels private. There's a small pool, plus a little fast-flowing river to swim in. The restaurant serves all meals; the menu is limited, but what we tried tasted good. A perfect stay just outside Banyuwangi.
