The garden and terrace were really lovely. We stayed one night on the way to Ijen, in one of the upper bungalows. The room was large but empty, which felt a bit odd. The toilet was okay, though it could have been better, and the TV was tiny and stuck in a corner. We didn't use it anyway. The bed was much too soft and springy, and you could hear motorcycles from the busy road beside the place all the time.
The verandah was my favorite part, a nice place to sit with coffee and chat while looking out at the garden. I stayed in a bungalow with a wooden floor, and the bedroom was spacious. It's quiet and good for relaxing. The bathroom could use some repairs, though. Breakfast was simple but fine for the moderate price, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The view right outside the room is beautiful, and the service was good. It felt comfortable and helped me clear my head. There are plenty of facilities, including wifi, a restaurant, a garden, and a gazebo. The weather is cold there, so you can't really see or use the AC.
The garden is beautiful, and it's a nice homestay close to ijen. We were only there for one night. The shower water wasn't hot, so we had to make do with a cold shower, and the food wasn't very good.
Handy place to stay if you're heading up Ijen crator to see the blue flames. The prices are good, and the restaurant serves decent food.
