The rice paddies around Pesona were just as beautiful as the ones I'd seen in Bali the day before, with canals, waterfalls and terraces. Dani, the owner, took me there, and in the afternoon we were the only two people in the whole fields. He also showed me his giant coffee plants, which his dad processes into some of the freshest zero km coffee you can drink in Java. Dani took pictures of me and even put together a video edit. The homestay food was comforting, brought to the table outside my room so I could eat while reading. The bed was comfy, and the shower had decent pressure and hot water that was easy to adjust, unlike at all my previous stays. Dani made my short time here special. Definitely 10/10 if you want a rural but convenient base for visiting Ijen.

The people were gentle and friendly, and we had a great time during our one night here. The area around the stay is beautiful, and the rice terrace tour we took was really interesting.

Set among rice fields, Pesona Homestay is in a beautiful spot and works really well if you're planning the Ijen hike. Our room was big, clean and fresh, with a cozy bed. The staff made us feel very welcome, and breakfast with tea and coffee was great too. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend it.

The bed was extremely comfy, and the food was delicious, especially the best Nasi goreng I had in East Java. The hostess was lovely, with beautiful mountain views right outside the door, and the place is close to ijen crater. A fan and mosquito net would make the stay even better. Great value for money.

Our host was so nice and took us to the rice fields at sunset. The scenery was lovely, and the room seemed quite new and was in good condition. The room and experience were otherwise amazing; AC and a mosquito net would be welcome additions.
