The staff are kind, though communication is difficult because most of them don't speak English. Breakfast was a letdown: it's à la carte, the portions are very small, and there's hardly any choice. The cleaning needs a lot of improvement, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Its location is good if you're heading to Ijen early to see the blue fire.

The views are phenomenal, and the hotel is really close to Kawah Ijen. The staff were super friendly, and both the rooms and the whole hotel were spotless and gorgeous.

The upper floor stands on stilts above an open dining area, giving Terras Hotel and Villa a distinctive feel. The property is modern and beautifully designed, and breakfast was good, with plenty of choices from Western favorites to local dishes.

Set beside beautiful rice paddies, this place feels peaceful and authentic. The farmers still plant here and receive all the profits, which gives the stay an ethical side and real meaning. We had excellent hospitality, thoughtful and attentive staff, and consistently delicious food. A special place to relax while supporting the local community.

We stayed one night for a holiday, and the staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hotel room was clean. There were a few bugs in the pool, likely because the hotel is so close to the paddy fields. They also have bikes available if you want to go cycling.
