The staff really stood out, from check-in to checkout they were consistently kind, polite, and welcoming. When the air conditioning in my first room had a problem, someone came quickly to inspect it. It turned out to be more complicated to fix on the spot, so they promptly moved me to another comfortable room without hassle. I appreciated how quickly they found a solution. The hotel is very close to the airport, which makes it handy for early flights and late arrivals. Its complimentary shuttle runs every hour, and you should ask staff ahead of time to book a seat. That made the transfer much smoother. This was a comfortable, well-managed stay and felt like very good value for a budget hotel. It turned what could have been a stressful transit into a pleasant part of my trip. I was thoroughly impressed and would choose Ibis Budget Hotel again.

The first impression on arrival was good, but in the room I noticed several details below standard. Water leaked from a bathroom corner, and the air conditioner cooled the area under its outlet rather than the whole room. The bed wasn’t in that cool spot, so I felt warm while lying there. There was also an odor from the toilet drain, so keeping the door closed was necessary to stop it bothering my sleep. It was quiet, and security seemed good, with visitors being registered. There’s an Alfamart and some local restaurants within walking distance. The lobby had a lot of mosquitoes. Breakfast starts at 3am for travelers, and an airport shuttle is available, though it’s best to confirm the booking with reception. I was told it takes around 45 minutes to reach T3.

The room was a long way from the airport, so getting there meant taking a taxi. Inside, it felt more like a hospital room, and there was an odd smell. I even found a bed bug in my bed. The receptionist, at least, was nice.

The airport shuttle made getting around much easier, and the price felt fair for what I got. Breakfast was decent, and the room had the basics I needed: air conditioning, WiFi, and a clean bathroom. It was simple but comfortable. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and professional. Ibis Budget Jakarta Airport is only a few minutes from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, so it worked well for my transit and early flight.
