Omar Hotel

The room was clean, warm-looking and easy on the eyes, and the location inside the Tangerang City Mall gate puts it near the city center. I only stayed one night to rest before my flight. I’d expected less from a “2-stars hotel,” so I was pleasantly surprised. For the low price, the beautiful room, luxurious feel and location might bring me back for a staycation. A couple of things could be better. The bathroom smelled of smoke when I came in, and there was a burnt cigarette under the sink, left by someone who’d smoked inside. I don’t smoke, and even my towel had a smell, though maybe it wasn’t fresh from the laundry. Then, at 00.19, I heard a vacuum, machines and other disruptive noises. I assume it was the cleaning service. The room wasn’t soundproof, so it disturbed my sleep. One more thing if you need darkness to sleep: it took four light switches to turn everything off. You can also remove the key card, but then the aircon won’t work. Thanks!
