Getting to the beach is easy from here, and there are plenty of restaurants, minimarts, and money changers nearby. You can also walk to other hotels to catch a free shuttle to Bali Collectioms. The rooms felt a bit worn, though, and there was no hot water for showers. Breakfast was just a jam sandwich, some fruit, and tea or coffee.
Rasa Sayang Beach Inn is close to the Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) and Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre (BNDCC). Shops, a mini mart, restaurants, massage and spa places, and water sports are nearby too.
I'd definitely recommend it.
For what it costs, the facilities are pretty bare. There was no hot water in the bathroom, the pillows smelled musty, and ants were everywhere. Even the refrigerator seemed to be for display only.
The only thing going for this place is the low price. We found stained bed linen, and water barely came out of our shower. At check-in there were tiny hairs in it, so we had to ask for it to be cleaned. There were no curtains, and covering the windows ourselves with thick ones made the room uncomfortable. The rooms need a serious update. Everything felt old, and ours on the first floor smelled strongly of smoke and damp, even mold. The so-called signature pillows reeked of sweat and dampness, as if they had never been washed. We had to take them outside and sleep without them because the smell was suffocating. We also killed large orange cockroaches with antennae in our room every day. When it rained, water leaked through the hallway ceilings. I wouldn't call this a reliable building.
