Horison Tasikmalaya

On my return to Tasikmalaya in February for an event, I contacted Horison Hotel. They offered compensation with a Deluxe room, the same room type I had booked before, and this time it was non-smoking. I appreciate Horison Tasikmalaya making things right for a guest. Thank you ❤️ My earlier stay there, in May 2025, had gone badly. I booked through Agoda and was given a smoking room. It felt stuffy and smelled strongly of cigarettes. The hotel brought an air purifier, but it made no difference. I called reception to ask about changing rooms and was told it wasn’t possible. My husband went down to speak with the receptionist in person, but got the same answer. We reluctantly booked another hotel through the Agoda app. We’d been checked in for only about 30 minutes before checking out. At reception, the checkout became complicated because we had paid a 50,000 IDR deposit and left our ID card. That was when they offered us a non-smoking room, which was upsetting after being told twice that a room change couldn’t be done. We explained that we had already booked and opened a room at another hotel. The manager apologized and gave us a business card, saying we could call the number if we came back to Tasikmalaya.

The breakfast service was good, and big thanks to Mrs. Melia for being friendly and giving such satisfying service. Housekeeping also did a very good job with the Honeymood decoration. Thank you!

Even during peak season, the price felt worth it, and the staff, including Deby, were helpful. Staying at horison hotel was a good choice. I’d definitely come back when I visit Tasik.

The location is really strategic, and the room was clean. Service was good too.
