We tried this hotel because the food and upkeep at KHAS Tegal have declined over time, where we usually stay. This one was decent for a night, though there’s room to improve. The room was fairly spacious and comfortable for a short visit. Water tended to collect on the bathroom floor. The shower was separate from the toilet, which was useful, but there was no bidet. Breakfast was average with limited choices, so we didn’t eat much.

The room was very comfortable and felt like a new hotel, with cold AC, a nicely firm yet soft bed, and a hairdryer. There was no electric kettle, though a hot water dispenser was available. The lobby looked stylish and smelled nice, parking was roomy, and the location was convenient. We had a great rest here.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a thoughtful theme and selection. It felt more elevated than what some hotels in larger cities manage. I had a lovely stay at Kotta Go Hotel Tegal. The whole team was warm and welcoming, from security and the front office to housekeeping. Kak Jeje, Kak Yoga, and Kak Ariyani deserve special thanks for making the visit even nicer. I’ll choose this hotel again when I’m back in Tegal. Highly recommended.

The rooms were very clean, and the food was delicious. There’s a famous saté shop about a 5 min walk away. The room also had a nice big smart TV. Recommend.

The food was better than I expected from a small hotel, and the service was excellent. My room had plenty of space, too. I had a pleasant stay at Kotta go Tegal and would come back.
