The 7:30 morning yoga was such a calm way to start the day, and all the instructors were lovely. Windy had a particularly warm, soothing presence in class. The team also surprised one of my bridesmaids with a birthday cake, and arranged small ceremonial touches that felt personal and thoughtful. Those moments added a lot to our stay. Most of all, they made our wedding day feel magical. The decorations were even more beautiful than I’d imagined, and seeing everything come together was emotional. I arrived feeling overwhelmed by all the preparations and worried I’d have to handle everything myself. The staff patiently guided us, helped with so many details, and kept everything running smoothly, so I could relax and enjoy one of the most important days of my life. The hotel’s peaceful, elegant surroundings were perfect for the occasion and felt special for us and our guests. Every person we dealt with was kind and supportive, and it was clear they cared. Thank you especially to Ai, Ayu, Otka, and Ema for your kindness, professionalism, and dedication. We’re deeply grateful to the whole team. This became a once-in-a-lifetime experience we’ll cherish, and we hope to come back for our anniversary. You made our dream wedding come true.

The room was lovely, and the front desk and restaurant teams were warm and welcoming. It’s a quiet jungle setting, around a 20-30 minute drive from Ubud center, though that distance makes it feel a bit remote. There were large ants and other forest insects inside, so be ready for that. Breakfast tasted fine and had a decent spread. The towels were very worn, though, and the floor mat was stained, so the room upkeep could use attention. A beautiful spot for a nature feel, with some things in need of refreshing.

We came for a quiet place to enjoy the jungle scenery and found the resort really relaxing. The service was the best I could have asked for. Okta at reception was very polite and welcoming when checking us in. Wayan, our driver, did his best to show us around Ubud and famous places in Bali, and I’d highly recommend booking him. The spa was epic, you have to visit to see for yourself.

The setting feels secluded, right in the jungle, and the facilities are brilliant. Our room was huge and had everything we needed. Every department, from admin and restaurants to gardening and maintenance, showed constant care. Staff were always smiling, asking how we were, and went to great lengths to make the stay memorable. From the warm welcome onward, everything exceeded our expectations. One of the most luxurious and relaxing stays I’ve had, with nothing I could fault.

Daily yoga with Wida was my favorite way to start the morning. She’s patient, kind, and helpful with students of every experience level, and her soothing voice and positive attitude left me smiling for the day. I enjoyed most of my stay at Aksari in Ubud. Most of the staff were lovely, amazing, friendly, and helpful. The resort is tucked into rainforest and was the most tranquil place I’ve ever stayed. Between the lush canopy, delicious food, and relaxing atmosphere, I left feeling restored.
