Anandari Ubud Villa

The views were breathtaking, and with such a large pool, it was hard to want to leave. The villa feels very private and tucked away, even though it's near the main road. The center is 20-40 minutes away depending on the time, but it was worth the trip. They provide a free private car drop-off and pickup once a day, at whatever time you need until 10pm. We had an amazing time. The staff were attentive and kind, and took care of everything we needed. Many thanks to them. Strongly recommended.

We left early, disappointed and heartbroken. This was meant to be part of our honeymoon, but the room felt unsafe, dirty, and nothing like what we expected. We love animals and don't mind seeing wildlife outside, but ants and spiders on the bed and towels, and a frog in the shower, were too much. There was a wasp in the room when we checked in. The towels had visible yellow stains, and when we complained, the manager said that was normal because they were old. The doors didn't close properly and had large gaps, letting insects and animals in. The manager also said ants on towels and spiders on the bed were normal, and admitted these problems couldn't be mentioned in the listing. They refused to refund us, even though the conditions were unacceptable and not as described. This is about basic cleanliness and safety, not whether you like animals. No one should have to sleep with insects crawling on the bed or use dirty towels with ants on them. We checked other places in Ubud, and this isn't normal. Other accommodations can be close to nature while staying clean, safe, and honest. If you love animals, it's nice to see them outside, not in your bed, towels, or shower. Avoid this place. It ruined a very special trip.

The villa was beautiful, cozy, and very private, with a clean pool and a great view. The outdoor shower felt dreamy, and the rice fields, famous Tis Cafe, and Alas Harum were all within walking distance. We had a delicious breakfast in the pool, with a good range of vegetarian-friendly options. It cost extra, but was worth it. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the villa was worth every penny. From the moment we walked in, we were wowed. Just book it.

After four unforgettable nights at Anandari Ubud, I'm already thinking about returning. The peaceful, authentic Balinese atmosphere is beautifully maintained, and the villa and service went beyond what I expected. The team really made the place. They were warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, and went out of their way to handle every request so we could relax without stress. If you're looking for a tranquil slice of Ubud with wonderful hospitality, I highly recommend it.
