I booked recently, got taken in by the fake reviews, and left after one night, losing the money I paid for the other couple. There were mosquitoes and the place was unclean. My room had no basin, so there was nowhere to brush my teeth or wash my hands after using the toilet. There were no hangers or bin either, and someone had put a used piece of soap back in its packet. The bathroom felt like a dirty cell, with just a shower head and toilet crammed together. Avoid.

We got to enjoy scooter rides along the beautiful roads and scenery around the hotel because it's quite far from central Ubud. The ride out there helped us escape the tourist crowds. The room was quiet and restful, and the roosters waking us early made it feel like we were really in nature. The whole atmosphere was calming, good for relaxing or meditating. The staff were very kind and attentive, which made the stay memorable. The room was a little damp, and the bathroom was basic, just a shower head and toilet. Still, it was adequate if you mainly need somewhere to sleep.

I couldn't sleep properly all night because there was broken glass from a damaged picture frame hanging above the bed. That's outrageous. The bathroom was cramped, with no toiletries, and the shower pressure was extremely weak. The room was very old and smelled strongly of mustiness all night. The place is also extremely remote, and I couldn't find it by booking a Grab ride. Don't be fooled by the photos and reviews.

Don't trust the reviews, this place is very remote. The floor was slippery, and our old room looked nothing like the photos. There was no hairdryer or toiletries, and worst of all, broken glass was on the bed.
