The family, Kadek, Ketut, Wayan, were incredibly kind and friendly. They took me around for a special day visiting local sights, including a temple, coffee tasting, and a local village. The villas felt secluded and tranquil, and the infinity pool was perfect for a dip with amazing views. Rooms were spacious and beautifully done, with a very comfortable bed. They had coffee, tea, and filtered water. Breakfast had several delicious choices, and the lunch and dinner menu was good too, especially the veggie options. I'm delighted I found this beautiful, family-run place. I hope I can return and will tell all my friends about it!

The bungalows were spacious, clean, and well kept, with a mini fridge, fresh mineral water dispenser, roomy bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the pool and rice terraces. The view and atmosphere from the pool and bungalows were excellent, right beside the rice fields. You can reach Tegallalang rice fields across the street for a nice hike. Ubud is about 20-30 minutes away by taxi or motorcycle. The staff welcomed us warmly. We booked a tour with Ketuk, which was fantastic for seeing a more authentic side of Indonesia, including temples and a coffee plantation. Papas Villas has a great rustic atmosphere, and I can really recommend it. Hope to come back soon 🙏

The owners' family were extremely kind and accommodating, and put in a lot of effort to make sure we had a fantastic time. We were so glad we chose to stay here and would highly recommend it. It's one of the nicest places we've stayed, in a beautiful, quiet area overlooking rice fields. The villas and pool have incredible views, and shops and restaurants are close enough to reach easily.

The host arranged a massage and a therapist for my sore shoulder, and it actually healed. He also helped set up a lovely purification ceremony, melukat, at Tirta Empul. The staff were very kind and attentive, and the view was breathtaking. The infinity pool was just right for relaxing. It was a truly wonderful stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend the place.

It was hard to leave Papas Villas. The small hotel is nestled thoughtfully in quiet, green jungle, but what makes it so lovely is the family who runs it. Bawa drove us wherever we wanted to go for a very reasonable rate and made fresh rice porridge for our baby every morning. They also took us to a wonderful Balinese massage away from the tourist paths, and it was very healing. Such a special place, thanks to the beautiful surroundings and the family!
