Friendly, helpful staff, and there are restaurants and laundry places nearby. Breakfast is served every day, with the schedule moved to sahur during Ramadan. Rooms come with a TV, AC, bottled water, towels, and a hot shower. They're basic, and whether you get a window depends on availability. There's no cupboard or fridge in the room, and the building has no elevator. Good value for what you get.

I paid Rm60 per night with breakfast, so I don't have much to complain about. Being allowed to smoke made me more comfortable as a smoker. The hotel is also very close to my only favourite nasi padang shop, nasi padang minang jaya, so staying here worked out well for me.

The price is reasonable, and the location is handy, with good local food nearby. Just keep in mind there are no non-smoking rooms.

It's improved a lot and is way better than before. Still no elevator, though. Lol. Guests should be reminded to keep things quiet, IYKWIM.

There was a smoke smell throughout the hotel, apparently because workers were smoking in the lobby. Maintenance also needs attention: our toilet didn't drain properly, and water leaked from the ceiling above it.
