The breakfast and views were amazing, and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. Just be careful with the transport prices you’re quoted for buses or private cars. A private car to Luwuk is 1.200.000, and they asked us for 200.000 to get from the Tentena bus stop to the hotel. We met a driver who took us to the hotel for free, though we gave him a good tip.

I stayed just one night, from 20-21 April 2021. The receptionist was really unfriendly, speaking loudly and in a harsh tone. The place was clean enough, and they had a hanger for drying the towel, which they don't provide. The strangest part was being charged IDR25,000 to rent a blanket, even though it's already known to be a cold area. Breakfast was only tea or coffee. That was what came with the lowest-priced room, IDR150,000. 🤔

I was desperate for somewhere to sleep that night, and got no help. Now I have to sleep outside on the floor. Excellent. Edit: That's what I ended up doing, thanks........

Best losmen along the way! Honestly, this inn was way better than I expected for the area. The rooms are big and clean, the AC gets cold, and even the TV has HB* channels. The bathroom is sparkling clean, the taps and shower all work just right, and they provide proper toiletries and clean white towels. The sweetest surprise was a bolster 😭😍🥰❤️
