The staff were kind and helpful, and though their English was limited, we could understand each other. We stayed in a cozy traditional Lombok house made entirely of woven bamboo. In heavy rain, the roof did leak in a few spots, but not many.

The place was dirty, with leaks, and it felt scary. The sheets were coming apart, and the bathroom was dirty too.
