The gardens are gorgeous, with flowers and butterflies all around and a view of Mt. Rinjani. We had a great time in the pool and on the water slide, too. It's a lovely place to book a few days if you want to relax and experience the local culture in Tetbatu. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived, with coffee and fresh fruit, then lemongrass tea in the evening. They brought us fresh coconuts and cacao picked from the trees, and helped us find good places to eat. Woody can also arrange activities like bamboo crafts, waterfall visits, the monkey forest, and rice fields. It felt like a special, authentic Indonesian stay. We only wish we'd stayed longer to take in more of the local culture.

Woody really looked after us. He took us to the local market to get food, arranged a scooter, and his wife cooked us some amazing meals. His cousin Lan was a great guide and showed us nearby sights, including waterfalls and small cottage industries. I can't recommend staying with Woody enough. You'll have a great time.
