Adila Bali

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, but that was the only thing I liked. The staff weren’t welcoming or friendly, and the stay felt uncomfortable. The hotel seems very run down, with old air conditioning, worn furniture, and little evidence of maintenance. Breakfast had very limited choices and almost no variety. It seems ownership may have changed, and perhaps the place was better before. The new management doesn’t match the potential here. It felt more like a guesthouse than a real hotel, and I left very disappointed.

We loved the peaceful feel at Adila Bali, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with amazing views, and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade. The team were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. Breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning, a perfect start to the day. The location also made it easy to explore South Bali’s beaches, from hidden coves to well-known surf spots, all a short scooter ride away. The staff helped us rent a scooter, which made getting around really convenient.

The cliffside location was the highlight for me. The beaches are close, and the views and sea breeze are amazing. We stayed three nights, and I was glad it wasn’t longer because I’m a light sleeper. The room’s wooden lever windows don’t block sound, so traffic and cement trucks heading up and down the hill for construction were easy to hear. I ended up sleeping with music on.

We spent a week at Adila in Uluwatu and found the rooms clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, including the tasty breakfast and nasi goreng. The pool was clean too, and the massages from the Maseur were incredible for the price. The staff were very hospitable and kept us informed when any issues came up. Being greeted by the friendly dog Coco every day was a pleasure. We’ll miss her 🥲
