Abu Villa by Betterplace

The villa is picture-perfect and right across the road from the North Entrance to Atlas Beach Club, one of the world’s biggest beach clubs. Restaurants, shops, and plenty of other amenities are close by. Sadly, that’s where the good part ended. We had no hot water for our whole stay, apparently because there wasn’t enough sun on the solar panels. The main outside door wouldn’t lock, and there weren’t enough glasses or cups for 10 people, even though the villa is for 10. Several things were broken or faulty, including the toaster, kettle, couch, and curtain rail. Basic kitchen utensils were missing, so even making simple food was a struggle. We came to Bali to relax, but spent our days worrying about whether we’d have hot water and whether we were safe with unlocked doors. Biggest lesson learned: next time, go to a hotel!
