We had lots of space and privacy to relax between our Bali adventures, and this was easily my favorite hotel of the ones I’ve been to. The interior is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the staff are the best. They were so friendly and even let us stay after checkout to shower and wait for our driver. It’s close to the beach and plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. We’ve stayed in several places in Bali, and this was really the best. Exceptional service! Highly recommend, and we’d love to come back. 😊 Perfect for families or couples.

Mayana Villas was one of the best parts of our trip, and we’d gladly return. We spent 10 days there. Communication before arrival was easy, and they accommodated our late night check-in. The spacious villa had great use of light throughout, a well-kept garden and a pool that was cleaned regularly. Bright, neutral colors made the interior relaxing. The bathroom was very pretty, and the large bathtub easily fits two people. The staff were friendly and respectful, and dealt with requests or small problems right away. Special thanks to Wayan for the help, guidance and Island tips. The in-villa Spa service was a nice way to unwind with a massage, with affordable prices and plenty of availability. A couple of things could be improved. Laundry we’d left on a counter with an unfilled form was taken without telling us, even though we hadn’t requested the service. They didn’t charge us, though. Also, the villa added a 3 percent commission when we paid in-house expenses by credit card. We don’t think it’s acceptable globally for the owners to pass along the bank service provider’s commission, and given the total we paid, they could have let go of a few dollars. We also weren’t told about the charge ahead of time, so we couldn’t prepare the amount in cash. Thank you to Wayan and all the staff who made the stay so enjoyable.

There are heaps of great restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The open dining and lounge area was great, and the villa itself was beautiful and spacious, with a large, deep pool. Breakfast was yummy and cooked to order. A big bonus was the free shuttle within the Canggu area.

We had a relaxed, stress-free week at Mayana in Bali. The villas were clean and new, with a great pool, and the staff looked after all our needs from arrival through departure. They made it easy to arrange the airport transfer, vans and motorbike rentals.
