Ayona Villa Canggu by Ini Vie Hospitality

The staff made everything feel easy, and our mornings began with a really good breakfast. We had a beautifully designed one-bedroom villa with its own pool, so it felt private and comfortable while still being right in Canggu. The beach was about a 10-15 minute walk away. A lovely modern place to stay.

We had a great four days here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and there’s a small gym for a quick workout. We chose breakfast the day before, and it arrived at the villa right on the agreed time. 👌

The birthday surprise for my partner was incredibly thoughtful: they arranged a cake, decorations, and a bed setup for free. We also loved the food, especially the complimentary floating breakfast and the breakfast served at the table each day. The villa was lovely, had everything we needed, and was cleaned beautifully every day. Most of all, the welcoming staff were always ready to help. We had a perfect stay from beginning to end. 💛

The butler service was the one bright spot. It was easy to reach someone when we needed anything, and they responded pretty quickly. The staff service itself was good, but for what we paid, we were extremely disappointed and couldn't wait to leave. The room felt run down and poorly maintained, and the towels and floor mat were badly stained every day. One shower head barely worked, and the breakfast was so mediocre that we stopped eating it after two days. It’s deep in the area, hard to walk anywhere, though most places were a 5-10 minute bike ride away. When it rains heavily, there’s no covered way from the room to the entrance, so you can’t get out. There were also lots of bugs around the pool. This definitely didn't feel like five stars, and the bad reviews seem true. Maybe we got a bad room, since there are good reviews too, but I was very disappointed.
