The staff were friendly and really helpful, and there’s an onsite restaurant with a good range of dishes. I liked having international TV channels, and the pool was reasonably nice. It’s good value, with lots of cafes easy to reach on foot or by bike, and the beach is less than three minutes away by bike.

There are plenty of restaurants about a five-minute walk away on the main street. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchen area, plus a hot shower. The pool is seven meters long. Motorbikes passing by can be noisy when you’re sitting outside, though the air conditioning cuts down what you hear indoors. You can ask for a kettle or hairdryer, and there’s a free water dispenser outside the room.

We wanted to stay longer, but they were full the next day, so hopefully we can come back another time. For what we paid, it felt well worth it. The staff were friendly, and the Wi-Fi was fast and free. Our room had a comfortable bed with a just-right pillow and duvet, a TV, air conditioning, and a roomy bathroom with a hot shower and toiletries. There was also a kitchenette with cooking and dining tools, a fridge, and refillable water jugs, which is a nice eco-friendly touch. The pool is onsite, and Berawa and Batu Bolong beaches are nearby, especially handy for surfers. Thanks for looking after us.

We paid about $25 a night through Airbnb, so it was good value. The room was modern and clean, with air conditioning, a fridge, and a 26-inch flat-screen TV that we didn’t use. There was a little private terrace too, though we never sat out there. The bathroom looked nicely designed and was spacious, but could have been better maintained; it still did the job. The beach takes around 10-20 minutes to reach on foot depending on your pace. Breakfast was mixed: the buffet selection was sparse, but the staff made good coffee, tasty pancakes with syrup, and very nice scrambled eggs.
