Casa Infinito

The staff gave wonderful service, and the villa has the makings of a 4-5 star stay if it’s maintained better. For what we paid, though, the upkeep and cleanliness fell short of my expectations. Sofas, lounge chairs, and other areas were dusty, with dirt still around the windows. I’d rate it three stars as it stands.

The villa itself was a good fit for our company offsite with 13 people. Bedrooms are very spacious, the pools were awesome, and the chefs made good food. It looks much like the video, though there’s some wear and tear. The walls and windows are thin, so rain sounded loud enough to wake me. The location is okay, neither very close to things nor especially far away. The villa staff were great, and the hostess Susann was nice, but two management issues left us with a bad experience. Bali Management Villas (BMV) owns the villa, and Casa Infinito Office (CIO) is the on-site staff. Around three and a half weeks before arrival, CIO asked for our arrival details. I explained that we’d land at 11:55 pm the night before check-in and planned to stay somewhere cheap near the airport. There were lots of low-cost places available, but since the villa was empty the night before, I asked if an early check-in might be possible, with airport pickup at 1 am and check-in around 2 am. CIO replied, “We will do our best sir and please if you dont mind to share with us your flight number. All the best”. They arranged cars for our group, and we planned around going to bed at the villa at about 2 am. I thought CIO had made a generous offer and was ready to pay extra, but appreciated the flexibility. Then, 48 hours before arrival, BMV said early check-in would cost 90% of one night, claiming that was standard everywhere. Nobody had mentioned a fee before. I sent screenshots of my chat with CIO, but they didn’t care, probably because that had been the original plan. I found another place near the airport, but prices had tripled or more by then, which I’m sure they knew. It felt like a bait and switch, almost like a scam. The other issue was the deposit. We paid it by credit card, but got the refund in cash only. Susan explained that at check-in and gave the reason, but it wasn’t in the villa handbook. We still had a few days in Bali after leaving, so it wasn’t a big problem for us. But someone going straight to the airport could be stuck with an unexpected $300 USD in Indonesian currency, and I think many people would be unhappy about that.

We stayed at Casa Infinito for a family holiday and would gladly come back. The location worked perfectly for us, close to restaurants, beaches, and shopping. Between the three pools and several outdoor spots to relax, the rainforest-inspired gardens made it feel like our own private resort. The villa is beautiful and luxurious, with modern design and amenities. Susan and her team were amazingly friendly from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond. Gusti the chef was a real standout too. We can’t recommend it highly enough, 10/10, best in Bali. Thanks so much to the whole Casa Infinito team!
