Pangkung Sari B&B

The staff made this place special. They were so sweet, checked in to see if we needed anything, and offered to clean the room each day. The room was very clean, too. It’s a quiet little retreat in Canggu, surrounded by greenery and lovely views. Breakfast was delicious, and hearing traditional music in the morning made it feel extra special. The pool was lovely for a refreshing dip while enjoying the surroundings. Such a cozy, welcoming spot. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

We’ve stayed here several times, and it’s become our usual place in the Canggu area. It’s centrally located on a small road, so it stays quiet and peaceful. The rooms have a modern design that makes them feel surprisingly spacious. The internet is stable, the pool area is cute, and the price is always good. The staff are what make it feel like home, though. They’re warm and incredibly helpful.

We stayed for four nights in April 2025, and even arriving at 1am on our first night, we were welcomed warmly. The service felt sincere and friendly throughout. The breakfasts were a highlight. We got to try nearly everything on the menu, from the croissant sandwich to eggs Benedict and banana pancakes. It was all delicious, with fresh ingredients and lovely presentation. The juices were great too, and a nice match for the island humidity. We felt we should go out and see some sights while traveling, but honestly, I’d have been just as happy spending the whole time lounging at this bed and breakfast. The place has a lovely intimate feel. If you like birds, there’s a resident water hen and her chicks in the little rice field out front. Watching them weave through the rice crops while we drank coffee and they looked for breakfast was a lovely way to start the day.

The hotel looks even better in person than it does in the already great booking photos. We stayed a few nights, and the service was incredible, with staff who were very kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the cleaning was especially thorough. There’s a swimming pool, and you can rent a scooter for a good price. We strongly recommend the place.
