Sungai Villa by Betterplace

We stayed for a month and a half and already can’t wait to come back. Felani and Lita are so lovely, and the staff came by every day to clean. They always checked whether we needed anything and were ready to help. It’s a quiet place, the house is amazing and all new. We felt right at home. Such a great experience.

A few steps get you to Berawa Beach, and it’s a five minute walk to great restaurants and shops. It worked really well for our group, with a clean, beautiful space, excellent amenities, and a kitchen and common area we used a lot. The place has a real Bali feel. The location is great, and the host was thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We’d definitely stay again.

We loved having the beach and cafes within walking distance, and the pool was great too. The large tropical grounds and Balinese style villa are lovely. It was super clean and just as beautiful in person as in the pictures, with friendly staff and lots of attention to detail and guests’ needs. Highly recommend!

Villa Sungai was a comfortable place to unwind after exploring. I loved the swimming pool, and the open-air bathrooms were clean and thoughtfully designed. The villa has a spacious layout, a well-equipped kitchen, and air conditioning, with traditional Balinese charm alongside modern amenities. We could also enjoy a BBQ. The hosts were warm and genuinely welcoming, and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. The location is great for beach lovers, close to the sandy shore in Canggu, near restaurants, convenience stores, and grocery shops. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Villa Sungai for an authentic Bali retreat, and I’m already looking forward to returning.
