Agung kept the villa spotless each day, and the gardens and pool were always in great shape. Bimo, the manager, responded quickly whenever we needed anything, and the night security helped us feel safe. We also appreciated the covered private parking. The beach is about 100 metres across the road, with cafes, a supermarket, a gym and Pilates studios close enough to walk to. Inside, both bedrooms and the living, dining and kitchen areas are enclosed and air-conditioned, which made the Bali heat and humidity much easier. Each bedroom has its own ensuite, with a separate bath and shower, so everyone had space and privacy. The design is beautiful, and we had such a good stay at Villa Kobe that we’d absolutely come back. It would suit couples, families or friends travelling together.

We chose Villa Kobe because we wanted air conditioning throughout an enclosed villa, and it kept the lounge, kitchen and dining area cool all day, not just the bedrooms. The two bedrooms are spacious and each has a lovely ensuite with a separate bath and shower, which made the place feel private and luxurious. You can walk to the beach across the road, plus cafes, restaurants, fitness centres, Pilates classes and a supermarket nearby, so we hardly needed transport. Agung looked after the villa each day and always greeted us with a smile. Bimo was available when we needed help, and the night security and covered private parking were reassuring and convenient. We’ll definitely stay again on our next Bali trip.

We had a disappointing stay. About 300 USD went missing from our suitcase while we were there, which left us seriously concerned about safety and trust. The water smelled bad, construction nearby kept disturbing us, and the villa is tucked well inside the area, making the location inconvenient. It didn’t feel peaceful or safe, and we wouldn’t recommend it. The owner says my review is fake. To prove it, my booking.com ID is 5388002536. We stayed here from 21.05.26 to 23.05.26.

Some of our currency went missing while we were out of the villa. It didn’t feel safe, the location wasn’t convenient, and the washrooms smelled. There were far too many insects around the villa. Zero stars.
