Horison Hotel Ultima Timika

The receptionist should make sure a customer’s packed breakfast is kept for the right person. I ordered one the night before for an early morning departure and asked for an omelet, but someone from another room took it without ordering. It was the hotel’s responsibility to look after my order, and that other customer behaved badly. They quickly packed a replacement for us, but it was rushed and had no omelet.

The location is right in the heart of Timika, and the price is very affordable. They try hard to give good service, which I respect. I had a good time here.

There are several meeting rooms and the parking area is large enough. The lobby is quiet and spacious, with a long sofa and other seats, and the rooms are cozy. Hospitality is good, but the food is so-so, not really delicious. There’s also a swimming pool. You need a card to access the rooms and lift.

I came to look around the new facility, not as a guest, since I may stay here in the future. It’s clean and well finished, and room prices aren’t expensive, comparable with other hotels. There’s a free shuttle to the airport. Rooms are nice, with connecting doors for families or groups, and the upper floors have sweeping views of Timika.
