At 250k a night with breakfast included, this might be my favourite homestay in Indonesia so far. Sharing the house with the family is part of what makes Chrisma B&B feel special, since you’re not kept apart from them like at some other homestays. Sharon and her mom are warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. And expect plenty of cuddles from the cats and dogs while you’re there ❤️

Sharon is such a kind, lovely person, and the location makes it easy to get to several attractions around Tomohon. She also gives guests a handy set of links with places and directions, which takes the guesswork out of planning. I spent three days seeing wonderful sights and having great experiences that I probably would’ve missed if I’d been left to work everything out myself. Really clever idea. Book it, you won’t regret it.

The scenery around the place is lovely to wake up to, and the host made my visit feel really special. She shares useful tips and recommendations, and cooks incredible food. One of the best homestays I’ve stayed at in Indonesia. I’d gladly come back.

Everything was very clean, and Sharon and her family were kind, caring hosts at this newly opened, cozy homestay. Her son Wesley works as a guide and showed us around the city and nearby area on a great tour. We could also rent two scooters right at the accommodation, which was really convenient.
