That Javanese massage was one of the best I’ve had. The room had incredible views, and it cost around IDR 450k for 60 minutes. We also enjoyed the pool and gym, and breakfast had a good range from 6am. High tea is available at 4pm on request or up at the rooftop. Our suite lake view room was 50 sqm and cost quite a bit, but the design, practicality, and service made it worth it. On our last morning we hired a scooter for IDR 170k/hour, a Renault Twizy for IDR 290k/hour, and a jet ski for IDR 850k for 30 minutes. Sofie and Nadya served us only on that last morning. I wrote my first comment quickly at checkout after the staff prompted me, so I also want to say the rest of reception were great. Mr Yogi even helped top up our Dana account so we could book ferry tickets online, which we really appreciated. A very pleasant stay, and I’d sincerely recommend it.

The room overlooking the lake was amazing, and the facilities were well rounded, with a bar and restaurant as well as watersports for an extra charge. Since it was CNY eve, there were barongsai events and complimentary angpao vouchers at check-in. The staff checked in with us often and were helpful. Nadya at the front office and Reynold, the barista who made our coffee at breakfast, were especially lively and friendly. Keep it up!

We had a lovely family break at Marianna Resort & Convention Tuktuk Samosir by Lake Toba. Sunrise over the lake was beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The children enjoyed the kids activities, while we tried the jet ski, which felt exciting but safe thanks to the staff's clear instructions. Canoeing was peaceful and relaxing. Ms. Nadya also helped us. Great spot for a vacation with both fun and downtime.

The food was great on both of our restaurant visits, but Farida's service stood out even more. She served us each time, was so personable and attentive, and is the best server I’ve ever had. She works on the rooftop patio, so ask for her!
