Minabali Bunga'lo

We enjoyed our stay at this pretty little place. It’s handy for diving, and Dive concepts arranged everything for us. The staff were friendly and breakfast was cute. I just wish the doors were a little easier to lock.

You can reach the beach in about five minutes on foot, and there’s a shortcut beside the accommodation. It’s also right by the Liberty wreck Ship. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Banana Pancake, and the watermelon juice welcome drink was refreshing when available. The staff seem well trained and professional, and they’re genuinely friendly and happy to help. The pool is huge, clean, and well kept, with enough depth for diving. The garden is pretty and cool, and you can hear birds in the morning and afternoon. 5/5, the best place to stay in Tulamben.

The rooms smelled damp, the sheets were dirty, and they didn’t clean the room. Neither the room door nor the bathroom door would close. They didn’t replace the toilet paper, and there was only one towel for two people. The staff didn’t seem to care and didn’t even speak English. It wasn’t worth the price at all, maybe a little if you spend the whole day at the diving center.

We chose this place to snorkel at the liberty wreck before heading to Gili Meno. It’s ideal for that, with a 10 minute walk to the snorkeling entry point. The stay was great too: clean, quiet, spacious, and with good AC and a nice pool. The food was good quality and cheap, and so was the beer. Would recommend.
