Jamboo Kingdom Hotel & Resort

The room breakfast was tasty and generous, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Laundry was impressively quick, usually done in 1-2 hours. I was here for business, but found the stay refreshing all the same. Some guests may prefer the usual all-you-can-eat breakfast, though that’s an area they could improve. The hotel feels like a castle inside, with creative details throughout. Rooms have different themes, including Wild West, Clock Tower, and Pirates, and the floors have striking designs that break from the usual hotel layout. It’s a memorable place, especially for families and children. Kids can play around the property, and there’s a full, well-maintained water park.

The water park has a wave pool, and there are free ATVs for one person, though I checked in late and missed the chance to use one. There’s also a theme park beside the pool that looked abandoned and a bit scary, plus deer around the hotel. Kids will enjoy the place. There’s plenty of parking outside and in the basement. They take an IDR 100k deposit and refund it at checkout. I’d definitely come back. Thanks!

We weren’t sure about the hotel at first. It used to be booming, but we had time to spare and booked a night anyway, and it turned out to be a really nice stay. Our room was spacious and clean, though the toilet could have been cleaner. There were four different room themes. The food was great, both room service and breakfast. The water park was a big plus and suits a short getaway with little ones, teenagers, or adults. There’s ATV riding, deer feeding, and a kids’ playground, too.

The room cleanliness was 0/10. We found three candy wrappers in obvious spots, which made it seem like they hadn’t even cleaned the floor. When we called for cleaning, they brought low-quality sweepers and didn’t vacuum. The cups smelled disgusting, and there were children’s kiss marks on the window from whoever stayed before us. It felt like nothing had been cleaned. Cleanliness matters a lot to me, and this was the worst, especially for 1.5Million Rupiah. Customer service was horrible too, 1/10. When we went for breakfast, they told us we didn’t deserve to eat in the dining area. The staff gave us bad looks, and both the staff and cleaning service smelled horrible. They should at least have good hygiene themselves. The rules were too strict, including rest times at the pool, and I couldn’t see the point. Check-in times were limited too. This hotel deserves 3 stars on Traveloka and other platforms. A lot of other inconvenient things happened during our stay. Horrible, horrible, horrible!
