The restaurant food was delicious, and breakfast had a great range of ingredients. The duck was a highlight, cooked just right. Staff were always smiling and pleasant to talk to. When we asked for fresh towels, they arrived within a minute, which was impressively quick. Our room was comfortable and beautifully designed, with excellent soundproofing that let us fully relax. The bed was extremely comfortable too. Glass walls brought in natural light and gave us lovely views of the plants and greenery. We enjoyed the privacy and atmosphere, and the private pool was a nice extra, though we wished it were a little bigger. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return and recommend it.

The thoughtful extras made my birthday stay at Desa Hay memorable: they upgraded my room, brought a birthday cake, included laundry and minibar drinks at no charge, and gave me special guest gifts. Putri and the whole team were especially hospitable, and the service was incredible. Breakfast was among the best I’ve had in Bali, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Desa Hay was the perfect choice for celebrating. Thanks for making it so special. I’ll recommend it to everyone and can’t wait to return.

My wife and I had been looking forward to our honeymoon at Desa Hay for months, and the stay lived up to it. The design and attention to detail are commendable, and the staff made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. They walked us through the room and amenities, and made check-in personal with music we like, a special note for the occasion, and welcome drinks. Breakfast is complimentary and all you can eat. The food is fantastic, so be careful or you might overdo it. There are plenty of ways to make the stay even nicer, including floating breakfast, yoga, laundry, and in-house massages. We liked that the staff used a WhatsApp group for anything we needed instead of repeatedly coming to the room. We met the owner, Scott, on our first night, and he and his wife were great to talk to. Every staff member was amazing, with customer service that felt unparalleled. Even the security guard was friendly, helped us get out of our Grab, and made sure we hadn’t left anything behind. Thank you, Desa Hay, for making our honeymoon so memorable.

The restaurant matched the rest of the stay, with consistently five-star food and presentation that suited the property’s relaxed, wellness-focused feel. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and kept spotless. Staff were warm and attentive without losing their professionalism, and thoughtful touches like evening turndown chocolates and supplies being replenished before we needed to ask made a difference. Even the airport pick-up and the well-organized transfer to our next destination went smoothly. We had a wonderful few days relaxing at Desa Hay Canggu, and would happily come back.
