Sutan Raja Kotamobagu

We couldn't find another hotel that was as good or better, which is why we stayed here. Still, after a shower, water collects on the bathroom floor, and despite the hotel's non-smoking policy, the hallway smelled strongly of cigarettes.

November 2023 was my first trip to Indonesia, for a wedding in Kotamobagu, and I had a great vacation. The food was extraordinary, especially the breakfast buffet with fresh fruit. Try the pineapple! The workers were very attentive, and the lobby was clean and nice. My room was great and quiet, so I slept like a baby. The shower did have a small issue, with water spilling onto the floor. The pool could use a little renovation, but it worked fine for me as a swimmer. The location was a little far from my activities, though my Indonesian friends always picked me up. I paid around $35 per day, including the breakfast buffet, and would definitely stay again. Best vacation I ever had.

It's the representative hotel in Kotamobagu, but breakfast could use some work. The soup is always served cold, and there's not much variety on the menu.

Our room was spacious, and breakfast was great and plentiful. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and reception attended to all our needs. Saputra and Rafita went out of their way to sort out the issues with the transport we needed. I'd stay here again if I had the chance.
