The employees were super friendly and helpful, which was a bright spot during my 8-day stay. I stayed because there weren't other hotels nearby. The room was a bit disappointing: no hot water, and breakfast was inconsistent. I only received it twice. I’m not sure whether I missed it because I didn’t wake up when they knocked, or whether I wasn’t meant to get it.

It was dirty and noisy, and there was no internet. The room cost 150.000, which felt way too expensive. A hostel in Malang for 75.000 is much better. I complained and asked them to give me 200.000 back for the two nights, saying the room wasn’t worth more than 50.000. They didn’t...😬

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was a small buffet with rice, veggies, chicken, tempe, tea, and coffee, all you need :) It runs from 6am to 9am, so get in early. Across the road is the mosque, and at 7am some kind of exercise room was going with great music blasting. There’s a water cooler and sweets in the lobby. Terima kasih

I was invited to a family wedding ceremony there today, though I’ve never stayed at the hotel. The place was good, and the food was awesome, with lots of Indonesian dishes.

It feels like my second house in Indonesia. I first got to know the place in 2012, and they’ve made a lot of progress with the rooms. If you go to Turen, this is the best place.
