6BR Villa Manoe Pais a Sanctuary in the RiceFields

Lovely place, beautiful view.

For such a beautiful villa, management should have paid more attention to access. I understand the road isn't exclusive to this villa and that there are other villas and houses nearby, but the drive should be more comfortable for guests and their drivers. The lane is narrow and overgrown, making it hard for guest vehicles to get through. Since the villa was going to be occupied, trimming the growth would have been a sensible bit of upkeep. Coordinating with the nearby villa managers might have helped. This villa and the others around it seem to be the largest in the area, and I wonder how they got building permits in this location. Despite the excellent guest reviews, this is the worst villa location I've visited. The road is at risk of collapsing and has no streetlights. With the brush overgrown, it seems suitable only for pickup trucks. Some Bali villas have small access roads, but those are still passable. It might have been better if cars couldn't access this one at all. Drivers who care about their cars shouldn't bring guests here, and I wouldn't recommend guests come by car either.

A beautiful villa for the price. The pool has a waterslide, and the kids had a blast.
