Arjuna Homestay Ubud

The hosts are kind and helpful, and breakfast is included from 7:30 to 11 am. It’s simple but nice. The location is really good, and the price feels fair for a local homestay, so come for that rather than luxury. Our room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable, though the pillows and blankets weren’t as good. Since it’s an older building, you can hear other guests, and the ceiling fan was very noisy. There’s no hot water, so showering can feel chilly depending on the weather. We also saw some ants and mosquitoes. Earlier reviews mentioned missing towels, but just ask the hosts and they’ll provide them for your stay. You can rent a scooter at the homestay for a very reasonable price, which is handy. We’d consider staying again.

The location is amazing, and the rooms were decent and clean. There’s no air conditioning or hot water, so don’t book here if you need either of those.

It’s right in the city center, but tucked away somewhere quiet. The rooms were neat and tidy, and we had a comfortable stay that we really enjoyed. The mattress was thin, though, and there’s only a fan, so the room can get warm. We’d definitely come back.

Cockroaches, mosquitoes, and cold water were all okay for the price. The lady who works there, though, is the rudest person in Ubud and has a terrible personality.
