Bisma Eight Ubud

Of all the places we stayed during our two weeks in Bali, this was our favorite. Bisma eight is lush and green, with really large rooms, great service, and a perfect spot on a quiet street just off the Centre, so it was easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast was great too. It felt like a luxury resort in the middle of Ubud, and we'll definitely stay again.

The concierge was so helpful and responsive through months of planning. Our driver was phenomenal, really knowledgeable, and brought sarongs and towels, plus cash to cover all our activities, which made a huge difference. The hotel is gorgeous, the pool was lovely, and service overall was excellent. Breakfast was just OK. The location is impeccable, with an easy walk into town, and it still feels like a jungle oasis. We'd definitely stay again.

The beds could be more comfortable, though we did request two twins instead of a queen. The rooms were luxurious and modern, and housekeeping tidied in the morning and turned them down in the evening. Copper Kitchen is worth booking for dinner, the risotto and drinks were delicious. We arranged a private driver through bisma 8, and each ride had a cold washcloth and water, plus umbrellas for rainy weather and a sarong for temple visits. Every driver shared local knowledge and helped us plan our days well. The spa was great too, and we could book a quick massage after hiking. It's a bit out from central Ubud, but a 15-20 minute walk takes you past shops on the way to the heart of town.

The team were attentive from the moment we arrived and helped with anything we needed. It was our first stay in Bali, and we were blown away. We booked a canopy suite, which I'd highly recommend for its large room and incredible view. Couldn't fault the hotel, and we'll be back. Thank you!
