Depa House

We were able to walk to plenty of bars and restaurants, and the monkey forest was nearby too. The host was friendly and arranged our taxi rides to and from the property, plus helped us book a tour. Our room was spacious and clean, and breakfast on the balcony was delicious. Tea and coffee were available all day, and the accommodation was a great price. Highly recommend it for a stay in Ubud.

The owners were lovely and helpful, and I had a really enjoyable stay. My room had a fan rather than air conditioning, which worked fine for me, though that might not suit everyone. Breakfast was especially nice: the fruit was arranged beautifully, the plates were lovely, and each had a round banana leaf as a liner. A great, affordable room for travellers, with thoughtful little touches. I'd recommend it.

The family made me feel right at home. The room sits among the owner's family homes, and it was very clean. Breakfast was good, too. It's close to the centre, and I'd recommend this place to anyone.

The bed was very hard, and the blanket felt more like a thin cover. There were mosquitoes in the room, too. Finding the hotel was frustrating because its location on Google Maps was wrong, and I spent 15 minutes searching nearby and asking locals. We had no hot water, and at times no cold water either. When I told the owner, he just said, “Ah, ok,” which made it seem like he already knew and didn't care.
