There were so many bugs that I couldn't sleep and left after one night. Something in the attic scratched and screeched all night, too. I saw an enormous spider, a smaller one, three kissing bugs, and one tried to crawl on me in the middle of the night. There were lots of moths, mosquitoes, and fruit flies, plus a giant lizard crawling on the wall above my bed. Just terrible. I don't recommend it.

The breakfast was good and the owner responded quickly to my messages and calls, but one of the servers took my gold diamond necklace when collecting my breakfast plate. The owner searched for it, but it wasn't found. Staff seemed polite, though my necklace was taken. The rooms were awful. I've stayed in almost all their room types, and they were all run down and stained, not worth the money. Blood stains on the sheets, stained towels, dirty curtains, wooden doors that barely worked. The bath was stained, so I couldn't use it. Some rooms had no showerhead, and in others the fan couldn't be turned off. The noise was even worse, with chickens, birds, machines, everything. I hate Bali and all the scams here!!!

We were in a ground-floor room for three nights, from 18october to 20october. Everything was great, with a comfortable bed and a clean room and bathroom. The shower head was the only thing that bothered us, and I'd recommend management replace it and the towels. I would definitely recommend this place.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. It's a cosy, quiet homestay in a great spot, within walking distance of Ubud Palace.
