Dewa Bungalows

We were told by the owner that construction was happening next door, but the noise was only during the day and didn't affect us. The manager was friendly and helpful. It's a very good-value option in the middle of Ubud. The room was simple, clean, and functional, with A/C, a fridge, kettle, gas burner, towels, and an ensuite with a warm shower. There's also a clean pool with deck chairs.

Even though it's right in the center of Ubud, the rooms are set back from the street and it's quiet. The family and staff were so kind and welcoming that we felt like we were leaving home when it was time to go. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip on hot days, and it was great value for money.

Dewa, Agung, and all the staff were polite and helpful the whole time. I extended my stay several times and will come back when I'm in Ubud again. The property is central, with notable restaurants, cafes, and bars a 5-15 minute walk away, yet the large compound feels charming and quiet. They've blended modern amenities with a traditional look. My room had a balcony or outdoor sitting area that could work well for getting some work done, and there's a lovely pool for a dip or a rest after exploring. They can also arrange scooters, laundry, and tours, which makes travel logistics easy. There's a pretty big store attached for daily essentials, snacks, and drinks. You can make your own tea or coffee and refill your water bottles too.

The owner, his family, and all the staff were super nice and helpful. My room was spacious and had an amazing view, and the pool area was lovely with beautiful plants around it. I had an amazing time here. I'd recommend it for good value in ubud.
