Hoshinoya Bali

The one thing I'd add is an on-site gym. There's one about a five minute walk away, and they provide one-time access, but a fitness space at the property would make the stay even better. We had an initial air-conditioning issue, but it was fixed quickly and the room stayed cozy and cool after that. The service was outstanding, warm, attentive, and professional from arrival onward. The resort is peaceful, lush, and beautifully designed, and the cultural classes felt authentic and thoughtfully put together. We enjoyed breakfast and a paid dinner at the outdoor glass house, which made dining memorable. They even arranged shisha delivery for a special request, a nice surprise that showed how flexible they were. A real 10/10 stay, and I'd absolutely return.

We found some lovely walks from the hotel to rice fields and the village. If you've heard Bali isn't a place for walking, this is somewhere you actually can. Our stay at Hoshinoya Bali was special. Villa Jalak had an amazing jungle view, and the staff were warm and made us feel at home. The food was amazing, with such a varied menu that you could eat something delicious and different every day for two weeks. I loved the hotel's design, blending Japanese and Balinese interiors and architecture. It left me feeling calm, peaceful, and inspired. Hoshinoya Bali is a unique place, and we'll come back.

I spent seven wonderful days at Hoshinoya Bali and had a lovely birthday celebration. The resort is stunning and very well kept. The staff were attentive and patient, and we especially loved Gurday from the restaurant team. He was so sweet and remembered all our dietary preferences and restrictions. I didn't want to go out at all, and spent most days relaxing at the Gazebos.

I loved how relaxing it was here, and how much attention went into every detail. Everything was well organized, and the room service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, too. The place stayed so neat and clean, but you barely saw anyone doing the work, which gave us plenty of privacy. It really felt like a five star hotel. My one thought is that breakfast included in the room price would make things more relaxing, since you wouldn't need to think about how much extra you'd pay. Thanks for having us.
